Growing up, I attended Powhatan High School, which offered Cosmetology in their Technical program. I completed 2 years of training and was able to graduate with my license in 2016. It was an amazing experience with a wonderful support group.
Soon, I was looking for a salon home that aligned with the values I set forth for myself and guests... that's when I found A Signature Salon. Family members of mine had been clients there for years! It couldn't have been a better match.
Since starting at A Signature Salon in 2020, I have grown tremendously as a stylist and as a person. I enjoy the one on one time with my guests and creating relationships where there is complete understanding and mutual respect.

I was raised in Powhatan, Virginia - 6 miles from, what is now known as, A Signature Salon. Growing up, I was surrounded by a family of holistic, healthcare providers who owned and operated a small business. Many days after school, I would visit the family business and soon learned to treat, work and care for others in a way that changed their lives naturally and organically. My passion for creativity stopped me from adventuring into healthcare, but helped me soar to make a business model for both of my passions, hair and care. Healthy, hair care.
I have been cutting hair since I was five years old! Self taught (at the time) and sensitive, I became to realize how important each touch, sound, light and smell can affect your experience. When I began cosmetology school in 2012, I knew then, I wanted to change the experience each guest received. No more hair pulling, loud music, chemical smells, double booking or uncomfortable shampoos bowls… I wanted true tranquillity, honest relationships and an experience you’d look forward too.
Since receiving my license in 2014, I have continued my education regularly. Approximately 1048 hours since then! I take pride in being able to educate my guests with what is best for them considering their lifestyles, maintenance routines and hair growth patterns. I am great with customization, as each client is unique. I also start each visit, new or returning, with a thorough consultation. I take extensive notes and create portfolios for each guest. It is my way of being a hair doctor and I believe it truly sets me apart from others.
